Tigers battle Fox Chapel to 1-1 tie
North Allegheny went on another road trip, this one shorter to Fox Chapel to take on the Foxes on Monday night. The Tigers and Foxes battled to a 1-1 tie in non-section action.
North Allegheny broke through in the second quarter when Teresa Nalducci found Addison Burns on a corner to give NA the 1-0 lead at halftime. Fox Chapel used a corner of their own late in the third quarter to tie the score up 1-1. Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the fourth quarter or overtime, and the game came to an end a 1-1 draw.
Alaina Roth made 20 saves.
With the tie, North Allegheny is now 0-1-1 overall. The Tigers will be back in action on Thursday when they host Penn-Trafford at 7:00 p.m. on the NAI turf.
