Tigers beat Blue Devils in section tilt
North Allegheny traveled to Mt. Lebanon on Friday afternoon to battle the Blue Devils in a Section 1-6A contest. The Tigers jumped out to a 9-0 lead and held on to defeat Mt. Lebanon by a score of 9-6.
Leah Carlson homered for NA. Twila Goulding had a double and drove in three runs while Sammy Plotsko had two RBIs.
North Allegheny improves to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the section. Mt. Lebanon falls to 4-7 overall and 2-6 in section play. The Tigers return to action on Monday when they travel to Hempfield to take on the Spartans at 4 p.m.
