Tigers Belt Butler For Third Straight Section Win
Senior Martin Lazzaro shot a one-over par 35 to lead the North Allegheny Boys’ Golf Team to its third straight section win, 203-233, over the Butler Golden Tornado. Lazzaro and Butler’s Nic Leone were the only two golfers to shoot under 40. Leone finished with a 38.
For the Tigers, Ryan Daugherty and David Mrazik each finished with 40 strokes. Kyle Dewey posted a 41, while Noah Wessel and Josh Huhn each tallied a 46.
The win leaps NA’s record to 4-2-1 overall and 3-0 in section play. The Tigers visit the Pine-Richland Rams on Thursday in another section contest. Tee time is marked for 5:00 pm.
