NA Boys’ Golf Knocks Off Franklin Regional, Pine-Richland
The North Allegheny Boys Golf Team earned a tri-match victory on Wednesday afternoon, picking up a non-section over Franklin Regional and a section triumph over Pine-Richland. The Tigers netted a team score of 196, besting the Rams’ 200 and the Panthers’ 216. North Allegheny was paced by Ryan Dougherty and Connor Gingrich who each shot a 38. Senior Mike Sudo followed closely with a 39. Pine-Richland’s Nick Lowry led all golfers on the day with a 37.
With successful tri-match, North Allegheny now owns 14-2 overall record and 9-1 record in section play. The Tigers visit Seneca Valley this afternoon with tee-time slated for 3:30 pm.
