Tigers defeat Planets

North Allegheny hosted Mars in a section showdown on a scorching hot and humid day. The Tigers kept their cool, cruising to a 181–189 victory over the Planets.
Sophomore Roman Habib led the way for the Tigers, firing an impressive 3-under 33. Freshman Jake Hendrick followed with an even-par 36, while juniors Ashok Venkat and Jayden Park each posted 37s. Senior Kyle Seidl rounded out the Tigers’ scoring with a solid 38.
Mars was paced by Finn McKenzie, who carded a 35.
With the victory, the Tigers rocket to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in section play! Tomorrow, the Tigers travel to Fox Chapel Golf Club to take on Shady Side Academy, the defending 2A WPIAL Champions.
