Tigers Fall To Guerin Catholic
The North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team dropped a 15-6 decision to Guerin Catholic (IN) on Saturday afternoon at Newman Stadium. The Tigers trailed 7-4 at the half but the visiting Eagles pulled away in the second half to remain undefeated on the season at 14-0. Sophomore Catherine Constantino led Guerin Catholic with five goals.
The Tigers were paced with two goal efforts from senior Amelia Henderson and sophomore Isla Abrams, respectively. Senior Bella Falo and junior Leigh Failla netted one goal apiece. Abrams, junior Mila Prusak and sophomore Maya Evans all added an assist each.
With the non-section loss, North Allegheny falls to 9-4 on the season. The Tigers will visit Pine-Richland for a major section clash on Monday night.
