Tigers get better of Butler second time around

North Allegheny hosted section rival Butler on Thursday in another chapter of a long-standing series filled with close, hard-fought matches. This time, the Tigers came out on top, powered by sub-par rounds from seniors Preston Troiano (34) and Liam Cooper (35). Adding to the victory were steady rounds of 36 from seniors Ravi Desai and Mike Huet, along with junior Kyle Seidl.
Butler was led by standout Levi McClenland, but the Tigers ultimately prevailed, improving their section record to 8-2 and overall mark to 14-3. North Allegheny will look to carry that momentum into another tough in-section matchup against Mars on Friday at 3 p.m. at North Park Golf Course.
