North Allegheny put together one of its strongest Sundays of the fall, sweeping Seneca Valley with an 11–5 win in Game 1 and an 11–8 win in Game 2. Senior Jordan Phillips led the way across both games, piling up seven hits on the afternoon and repeatedly sparking rallies, while senior Viola Laswell handled all 14 innings in the circle to anchor the sweep.

Game 1

North Allegheny opened the afternoon with a steady 11–5 win, taking control early and never letting Seneca Valley settle in. Phillips set the tone immediately, doubling in the first, singling in the second, and doubling again in the fourth as part of a three‑hit performance that kept runners moving. Senior Amara Daugherty started the scoring with a double down the left‑field line, and sophomore Ava Combs followed with a clean RBI single to right. The Tigers kept adding on with three‑run innings in both the second and third, highlighted by RBI swings from senior Lily Daugherty, junior Olivia Smith, and junior Frida Gourlay.

Laswell worked all seven innings, allowing only two earned runs while striking out four. North Allegheny finished with 17 hits, led by three each from Daugherty, Phillips, and Gourlay, while Combs and Laswell added multi‑hit efforts as NA controlled the opener from start to finish.

Game 2 

The second game brought even more offense, and Phillips delivered her biggest performance of the day. She went 4‑for‑4, doubling in each of the first two innings and adding singles in the fourth and sixth. After Seneca Valley scored first, NA flipped the game immediately with a five‑run bottom of the first, stringing together seven hits to take a 5–2 lead. Phillips’ first‑inning double drove in a run, and the Tigers never trailed again.

Sophomore Zoey Bornt sparked the second inning with a triple to center, followed by another Phillips double and a run‑scoring swing from Lily Daugherty, who matched Phillips with four hits of her own. Combs added another multi‑hit game, and NA finished with 20 hits in an 11–8 victory that closed out the sweep. Laswell again handled all seven innings, battling through traffic and keeping NA in front as the offense continued to produce.
