Tigers Land Win Over Planets, 188-202
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team won for the eight time in nine tries with a 188-202 section win at Mars on Wednesday afternoon.
Leading thew charge for the Tigers at Butler Country Club was junior Chris Hoffman with an even par 35. Senior Jacob Phrampus stood his ground with a 1-over par 36. Senior Colin Rende and sophomore Ravi Desai each shot a 38 to help NA secure the victory. Sophomore Preston Troiano chipped in with a 41. Mars was paced by Matt Mueller’s 38.
North Allegheny improves to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the section. The Tigers continue their busy week with a visit to South Hills Country Club to take on the Baldwin Fighting Highlanders.
