Tigers Roll Over Rams In Section Rematch
In almost perfect conditions at Treesdale Country Club, the North Allegheny boys’ golf team earned a 202-213 road section win over the Pine-Richland Rams on Tuesday afternoon. The victory atones for a narrow loss to the Rams earlier in the season.
The Tigers were led by freshman Chris Hoffman, who shot a 3-over par 38. Not far behind were Collin Wang and Dylan Fitzgerald, each shooting a 39. Rounding out the scorecard were a trio of 43’s from Ethan Byrne, Curtis Rhoten and Jake Watterson. Pine-Richland was led by Toby Kotay with a 1-over par 36.
With the win, North Allegheny leaps to 6-6 overall and 4-3 in section play. The Tigers will host the Shaler Titans on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
