Tigers squeak out 3-2 win over Norwin
North Allegheny traveled to Norwin to take on the Knights in another Section 1-6A matchup. The Tigers picked up their fourth straight win and fifth in six games as they downed Norwin, 3-2, on Monday afternoon.
Sammy Plotsko got the win in the circle striking out eight batters. Erin Fadgen doubled and drove in a run while McKenna Rowlands hit a triple and had an RBI. Zoe Rychel was 2 for 3, driving in a run.
North Allegheny improves to 10-7 overall and 9-5 in the section. Norwin falls to 5-10 and 5-7 in section play. The Tigers return to action today when they travel to Butler at 4 p.m.
