Tigers Take Care of Raiders For Section Win, 199-209
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team earned a 199-209 section victory over Seneca Valley on Monday afternoon.
Freshman Chris Hoffman led the way at North Park Golf Course by shooting a 1-over par 37. Helping secure the victory were a pair of 40’s from juniors Curtis Rhoten and Ethan Byrne. Sophomores Jake Watterson and Collin Wang added a pair of 41’s in the win. Spearheading Seneca Valley’s efforts was Nolan Nicholas, who shot an even par 36 in a losing cause.
North Allegheny improves to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in section play. The Tigers visit Allegheny Country Club on Wednesday to face Sewickley Academy.
