Tigers Take First Place In Koller Classic

North Allegheny boys’ volleyball traveled to Central York for the 2026 Koller Classic and went undefeated on the weekend for a first-place finish.
The Tigers were 8-0 in Pool B play before the playoff rounds. NA defeated Red Lion in the round of 16 before taking down Pennridge in the quarterfinals. North Allegheny topped Cumberland Valley in the semifinals before claiming the tournament title over Central Dauphin.
Seniors Elliott Swierczynski and Peter Bratich were named to the All-Tournament Team, while senior Brendan Moore was named tournament MVP.
Moore paced the Tigers with 33 kills, followed by fellow senior Will Robertson, who registered 28 and 20 digs. Bratich had 23 and senior Nathan May had 18 with a team-leading nine blocks. Sophomore Josh Chou led NA with five aces. Swierczynski finished the weekend with 31 digs, followed by senior Emmett Morris, who had 21. Swierczynski also led the Tigers with 77 assists.
North Allegheny returns to WPIAL action this week with three matches. The Tigers face Pine-Richland and Penn-Trafford on the road Monday and Wednesday before a home section matchup with Seneca Valley at 7:00 p.m. Friday. That match will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
