Tigers Top Tribe For Section Win
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team took on section rival North Hills on a hot and humid Wednesday afternoon and came away with a 200-220 victory.
The Tigers navigated Shannopin Country Club thanks to the efforts of senior Ryan Meyer who paced the Tigers with a 1-over par 36. Senior Phillip Beer tallied a 39, while Scott Fitzgerald and Teague Urban each posted a 41. Adam Steinmetz rounded out the scoring with a 42. North Hills was led by a pair of 43’s from Jacob Stuckert and Ian Keller.
North Allegheny improves to 6-2 overall and 3-2 in section play. The Tigers host Seneca Valley at North Park on Thursday to begin the second half of season play.
