Tigers Ward Off Warriors For Non-Section Win
It was a scorcher on the North Park Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon and the North Allegheny golf team was red hot, vanquishing the Penn-Trafford Warriors in non-section play, 199-215.
On one of the warmest days of the season, the Tigers were led by Ryan Meyer and Scott Fitzgerald who each shot a 38. Phillip Beer tallied a 39, while Teague Urban and Adam Steinmetz followed by each shooting a 42. Evan Diulus rounded out the scoring with a 44. Penn-Trafford’s low-scorer on the day was Adam Yamrick with a 40.
With the win, North Allegheny leaps to 5-2 overall. The Tigers visit North Hills this afternoon.
