Tigers win fifth straight with sweep of Penn-Trafford
North Allegheny traveled to Penn-Trafford High School to take on the Warriors on Wednesday night in a non-section battle. The Tigers picked up their fifth straight win in dominant fashion defeating the Warriors by set scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-16.
Will Robertson had nine kills for NA offensively and two blocks. Peter Bratich added eight kills and four blocks. Brendan Moore had seven kills. Elliot Swierczynski dished out 25 assists and had three aces. Henry Dorn had three aces as well. Emmett Morris and Josh Chou each had two aces. Morris also had seven digs while Chou had 10 assists. Nicholas DiPrato added five digs.
North Allegheny improves to 5-0 overall. The Tigers return to action on Friday when they host Seneca Valley in a section contest at 7 p.m. That match will be broadcast live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
