For the second time in as many seasons, senior Will Robertson was named Player of the Year by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Fresh off the first PIAA title in his tenure with the Tigers, Robertson was named to the All-Area Team along with teammate and fellow senior Brendan Moore.
Since his freshman season when Robertson cracked the starting lineup, North Allegheny Volleyball has had two WPIAL silvers and two WPIAL golds to go along with the PIAA silver and gold medals from last season and this year. He finished the 2026 campaign with 322 kills, a .385 hitting percentage, 38 serving aces, 186 digs and 37 blocks. His career totals are 1,084 kills, 106 serving aces, 770 digs and 148 blocks. Robertson was also named NA’s Male Athlete of the Year in recent weeks.
Moore is a two-time WPIAL All-Star who appeared on the third team as a junior and first team this year. He helped NA post a perfect 17-0 record by recording 305 kills, a .318 hitting percentage, 37 serving aces, 142 digs and 60 blocks.
In addition to the All-Area Team accolades, Robertson and fellow senior Peter Bratich were named to the Trib HSSN Boys’ Volleyball Super 6, where Robertson was also named Player of the Year.
Bratich is a three-time all-section, all-WPIAL and all-state player. He had 199 kills and a .433 hitting percentage this season while adding 84 blocks, 48 digs and seven aces.
The Tigers are expecting to see some of the same names on the All-State list when it is released in the coming days.
