NA Win Streak Snapped By The Kiski School

The North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse team had a four-game win streak snapped by the Kiski School following a 14-6 non-section loss on the road Friday night.

Kiski got out to a fast start, scoring the first seven goals of the contest in the first quarter. Tiger sophomore Nick Sichak broke the shutout in the second frame on a goal assisted by fellow sophomore Jonathan Castillo. Junior Travis Lamark tallied the next two goals for the Tigers, with his second marker assisted by Castillo. The Tigers trailed 9-3 at the half.

Castillo connected with Sichak once again to start the third quarter, but Kiski responded with three more goals. Sichak earned a hat trick goal late in the frame. Senior Evan Lyon scored to open the fourth quarter after a pass from Sichak. Kiski added two more goals in the fourth to end the contest.

Junior Logan Lyle made 14 saves in the contest, while sophomore Luke Rohan won six faceoffs.

With the loss, North Allegheny falls to 4-6 overall this season. The Tigers are back in action Saturday morning for a rescheduled section matchup with North Hills from Newman Stadium at 10:30 a.m. The game will be broadcast live by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
