Reigning Champs Get 1st RD Bye In WPIAL Playoffs
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team, the No. 1 ranked team in Class AAAA, received a first-round bye in the upcoming WPIAL playoffs. The Tigers will host a quarterfinal round match on Monday, Oct. 28 against the winner of Seneca Valley and Norwin. The Raiders and Knights will meet on Wednesday night in the WPIAL first round. The Tigers enter the postseason riding the wave of a 63-match winning streak. NA has won the last two WPIAL and PIAA crowns in the largest classification.
