Tigers fall in five sets to Oakland Catholic
North Allegheny traveled to Oakland Catholic on Thursday afternoon to take on the Eagles in non-section play. It was competitive all night long but the Tigers ultimately fell in five sets by set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 25-20, 23-25, 13-15.
Reagan Riordan led the Tigers defensively with 26 digs. She also had four aces. Keira Duffy had 19 digs. Keely McMahon-Regan dished out 47 assists along with 14 digs and four aces. Molly Robertson led NA offensively with 32 kills. Alicia Mokube added 16 kills while Luana Tripon and Paige Shanahan had four kills and one kill, respectively. Catie Cooper had five kills and added a block.
North Allegheny falls to 0-2 overall. The Tigers will have a week off between games, returning to action next Thursday when they host the Shaler Titans at 7 p.m. This match will be broadcast live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
