Tigers get back to .500 with four set win over Pine-Richland

North Allegheny took the short trip to Pine-Richland High School on Tuesday night to take on the Rams in a Section 2-4A matchup. The Tigers got their record back to .500 with a four-set victory over Pine-Richland by set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 19-25, 25-23.

Keira Duffy served well for NA with three aces. She also had 11 digs. Dede Alualu added three aces to go along with nine digs. Vivienne Deily-Nelson contributed two aces. Molly Robertson led North Allegheny offensively with 21 kills and had 14 digs defensively. Alicia Mokube had nine kills and three blocks. Geneva Adams pitched in eight kills and nine digs while Catie Cooper had eight kills. Paige Shanahan had two blocks at the net for the Tigers. Keely McMahon-Regan dished out 39 assists along with 14 digs. Reagan Riordan led the NA defense with 16 digs.

North Allegheny improves to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the section. Pine-Richland falls to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in section play. The Tigers return to action today when they host Seneca Valley at 7 p.m. This game will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
