Girls’ Soccer Wraps Up Section Play With Win Over Butler

North Allegheny girls’ soccer traveled to Butler for a section match against the Golden Tornado on Wednesday night and came away with a 4-0 victory. It is the second shutout win over Butler this season.
The Tigers had goals from junior Mwende Abai, senior Emma Schupanksy, junior Bella Montgomery and senior Averie Bierker. Junior Jordan Beemer earned the clean sheet in the net.
North Allegheny improves to 11-3-2 overall and 5-2-1 in section play this season. The Tigers have two road non-conference tune-up games next week before the postseason begins. NA takes on Allderdice Monday at 3:00 p.m. and Montour Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
