It was Middle School Night at UPMC Court on Thursday night, and North Allegheny’s future watched the program’s present earn a 3-1 victory over the North Hills Indians. The evening doubled as Pink Out Night, and the host Tigers rolled to their ninth consecutive victory by set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-14 and 25-15. For the Indians, it was their 20th consecutive loss in section play.
The eight-time reigning PIAA champions flexed their muscle in the opening set and dominated to the tune of a 25-13 win. Juniors Luana Tripon and Molly Robertson led the way with four kills each, and senior Reagan Riordan added a pair of aces in game one.

The second set was just an aberration, however, as North Allegheny got back to business in games three and four with a pair of blowout wins, 25-14 and 25-25, to secure an eighth straight triumph. Robertson overwhelmed the Indians down the stretch with a game-high 22 kills, adding 17 digs on her way to Wright Automotive Player of the Game honors.
