Tigers Breeze Past Spartans To End Regular Season

The North Allegheny girls’ soccer team traveled to Robinson to take on Montour in a non-section tune-up match ahead of the postseason Wednesday night. The Tigers came out on top with a 4-0 victory.
NA started the scoring in the first half courtesy of a corner kick. Senior Mia Bosley was credited with the opening marker. Juniors Rosalia Varlotta, Addison Vrabel and Bella Montgomery all added second-half goals to seal the win.
The Tigers close out the regular season with a 13–3–2 overall record. Earlier in the day, the WPIAL soccer playoff brackets were released. NA earned the #5 overall seed in the tournament. North Allegheny will host #12 Armstrong on Monday, October 20, at 6:30 pm at Newman Stadium. The winner will advance to play at #4 Pine-Richland on Thursday, October 23.
