Stefanko, Bunger Named Water Polo All-Americans
Recent North Allegheny graduates Michael Stefanko and Callan Bunger were named NISCA Water Polo All-Americans for the 2025 season. Stefanko received Fifth Team All-American recognition and Bunger received Sixth Team All-American recognition.

Stefanko and Bunger were key leaders for the NA water polo team, leading the Tigers to back-to-back state championship titles. Excelling both in and out of the pool, both athletes also received Academic All-American honors.
Stefanko anchored the defensive end, posting a career 598 saves, 43 assists, and 36 steals. He is a two-time First Team All-State goalie and was named 2025 PA Goalie of the Year. Stefanko will continue his water polo career at Washington & Jefferson College.
Bunger racked up 106 goals, 16 assists, and 36 steals his senior year, including a standout 6-goal performance in the state championship final to secure the victory. Bunger also received First Team All-State honors along with Third Team recognition his junior year. A multi-sport athlete, Bunger also threw javelin for the North Allegheny Track & Field team. He is attending Pitt this fall.
