North Allegheny Girls Wrestling Try It Nights

Posted on:

North Allegheny Girls Wrestling is inviting students of all ages to hit the mat and experience one of the fastest-growing sports with a series of upcoming Try-It Nights. No previous wrestling experience is needed, making the sessions an opportunity for girls to learn the basics of the sport, meet coaches and wrestlers, and see what the program has to offer.

For students in grades 7-12, Try-It Nights will be held September 21, October 14 and November 5 at 5:00 p.m. at North Allegheny Senior High School. The program emphasizes building strength for other sports, developing confidence, overcoming mental and physical challenges, and creating strong bonds with teammates. Wrestlers also compete at their natural weight, with no weight cutting required. For more information, click here.

The junior girls program runs from November through February and features its own practices and dedicated coaching staff, with instruction provided by North Allegheny girls varsity coaches and varsity wrestlers.
