Tigers continues streak with win at Norwin
North Allegheny traveled to Norwin High School on Thursday night to take on the Knight in a 6A, non-section contest. The Tigers ran their win streak up to seven matches with a 3-0 sweep of Norwin by set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.
Ella Lange led NA with nine kills. She also had two aces. Carena Schiller added eight kills. Alicia Mokube had six kills to go along with four aces while Paige Shanahan helped with five kills and two blocks. Molly Robertson dished out 18 assists, three blocks, two aces and five digs. Sydney Klaich had seven helpers. Lily Dent chipped in four assists. Keira Duffy had three aces from the service line and eight digs. Brooke Dietrich had two. Vivienne Deily-Nelson led North Allegheny defensively with nine digs.
North Allegheny improves to 7-0 overall. The Tigers return to section play on Tuesday when they travel to Pine-Richland High School to take on the Rams at 7 p.m.
