Girls Volleyball claims five-set thriller at Pine-Richland
North Allegheny traveled to Pine-Richland to take on the Rams in a Section 1-6A contest on Tuesday night. Meeting for the first time since the 2025 WPIAL Semifinals, a match the Rams swept, the Tigers got their revenge winning a five-set thriller by set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 15-25, 25-16, 17-15.
Carena Schiller led NA offensively with 17 kills. Ella Lange and Alicia Mokube each had 14 kills. Lange also had three aces while Mokube added two. Molly Robertson helped with six kills, three aces, two blocks, 15 digs and eight assists. Paige Shanahan had four kills and two blocks. Sydney Klaich had two aces, nine digs and 15 assists while Vivienne Deily-Nelson contributed an ace and 35 digs defensively. Kiera Duffy had an ace from the service line and nine digs. Lily Dent had three blocks at the net and dished out 17 assists.
North Allegheny improves to 8-0 overall and 3-0 in the section. The Tigers return to action on Thursday when they host Hempfield at UPMC Court at 7 p.m. This match will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
