The North Allegheny varsity cheerleading squad earned two bids to nationals last weekend at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida. Four members of the North Allegheny girls’ soccer team were named All-WPIAL on Wednesday by the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association. Senior midfielders Anna Bundy and Sophia Palermo, senior forward Lucia Wells and junior forward Abigail Stager all received All-WPIAL laurels from the WPSCA. The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team punched its ticket to the WPIAL finals for a sixth consecutive season thanks to a 3-0 sweep of Penn-Trafford on Tuesday night in the WPIAL Class 4A semifinals at Fox Chapel High School.
