Abigail Stager Earns All-State Honors
North Allegheny senior Abigail Stager was named All-State this week by the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association. Its the fourth consecutive season a member of the North Allegheny girls’ soccer team earned all-state laurels. For a complete list of the 2023 PSCA All-State team, click here. Stager was one of the most prolific scorers in program history with 63 career goals and netted 32 goals this season. Stager is a two-time All-WPIAL selection and was a finalist for the Moe Rosensteel Player of the Year Award, among a bevy of athletic accolades.
The University of Kentucky commit played a pivotal role in North Allegheny’s 22-2 season and trip to the PIAA semifinals this season. During Stagers four-year tenure on the team, the Tigers earned two WPIAL titles in 2020 and 2022, and were WPIAL runners-up this past fall.
