Abigail Stager Ranked Among Top 20 Players In Nation By SB Live Sports
North Allegheny senior Abigail Stager was ranked as one of the 20th best girls’ soccer players in the nation according to SB Live Sports. For a look at the Top 20 list, click here.
Stager will go down as one of the most prolific scorers in program history and capped a brilliant high school career with a team-high 32 goals in 2023, giving her 63 goals in her four-year career with the Tigers. Among a bevy of accolades for the University of Kentucky commit, she was named to the United States Coaches Association’s All-Region and All-America Teams. Additionally, Stager was tabbed All-State by the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association and All-WPIAL for a second consecutive year.
Stager played a pivotal role in North Allegheny’s 22-2 season and trip to the PIAA semifinals this season. During Stager’s four-year tenure on the team, the Tigers earned two WPIAL titles in 2020 and 2022, and were WPIAL runners-up and PIAA semifinalists this past fall.
