Alicia Mokube Commits To University at Albany Volleyball

North Allegheny girls’ volleyball senior Alicia Mokube has decided where she will be playing at the next level.
Mokube announced via social media Friday that she will attend the University at Albany when her days with the Tigers come to a close.

Mokube was an All-State player last season and second on the team in kills behind fellow senior Molly Robertson with 287. She led the team in blocks with 57 while collecting 75 digs, seven aces and five assists. Mokube was also named first-team All-WPIAL and Big 56 All-Conference. Two seasons ago, Mokube was first-team all-section, first-team all-Big 56 and second-team All-WPIAL.
Albany participates in women’s volleyball at the Division I level as a member of the America East Conference. Last season, the Great Danes were 14-12 overall and reached the America East Volleyball Tournament Championship Game.
