Ally Ruiz Commits To D-I High Point University
North Allegheny incoming senior for the 2023 season, Ally Ruiz, will continue her athletic and academic career at Division I High Point University in North Carolina. Ruiz announced her commitment on Tuesday.
The speedy and talented midfielder has been a significant contributor to North Allegheny’s run to WPIAL Class 4A titles in 2020 and 2022. As a junior, Ruiz netted five goals last season, giving her 11 markers in her three-year career.
At High Point University, Ruiz will join a women’s soccer program that competes in the Big South Conference and has won seven conference titles. Most recently, High Point captured the Big South crown in 2021.
Ruiz is a multi-sport athlete at North Allegheny and also competes on the Tigers girls’ flag football team.
