Boys sweep Day 2 of Screaming Eagle; Girls Split

North Allegheny remained at Cumberland Valley High School for the second day of the Screaming Eagle tournament. Day two was much kinder to both teams as the girls beat Muhlenberg, 9-6 before falling to Souderton in their second match by a score of 12-4. The boys won both of their matches on the second day defeating Muhlenberg 16-3 before taking down Souderton 8-6.

For the girls against Muhlenberg, Bella Spino led the way scoring six goals. She also had three steals. May Coffman added two goals to go along with two assists and three steals. Ava Sharar had a goal and two assists. Mikaela Dassanaike handed out three helpers while Lily Tang had four steals. Katherine Vales made seven saves in the match.

In the second match of the day against Souderton, Spino added three more goals, giving her 11 goals for the weekend. Spino also had three steals in this match. Sharar added three assists. Vales made six saves.

On the boys side, against Muhlenberg, the Tigers stormed out to a 14-1 lead at halftime, and coasted to a 16-3 victory. Callan Bunger led NA with four goals and an assist. Tabari Morgan had three goals to go along with three assists and two steals. Caden Currykosky, Grant Regule and Bryce Miller each had two goals. Regule and Miller each dished out two assists. Mason Shantz, Filip Malezanov and Logan Purnell all added a goal. Shantz also had three assists and a steal while Malezanov had two assists. Mike Stefanko made 18 saves in the match.

In their second contest against Souderton, Currykosky score five times for the Tigers. Morgan added two goals with an assist and steal. Purnell added his second goal of the day. Shantz dished out three more assists while Malezanov helped with two assists. Stefanko made 11 saves.

The North Allegheny girls finish the regular season with a 9-11 record. The boys finish 16-6.
