A co-captain of the team along with Trunzo, Jones was a participant for the 2023 USA Water Polo 18U National Team Selection Camp.

Trunzo, who is also the starting goalkeeper for the North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team, displayed her superb net minding skills in the pool as well and was named first-team all-state and took home Pennsylvania’s inaugural Goalie of the Year award in 2023. A three-year starter in net, Trunzo made 711 career saves and posted 254 stops in her senior campaign. She is a four-year starting keeper in lacrosse and was named second-team all-section as a junior last season.

Jones and Trunzo led North Allegheny to a 15-9 season this past fall and a seventh-place finish at states.
