Girls Volleyball Sweeps Ursuline
North Allegheny girls’ volleyball managed a sweep in Ohio over the weekend, beating Ursuline 3-0 by set scores of 25-18, 25-15 and 25-22.
Leading the way for the Tigers included juniors Ella Lange and Carena Schiller who each registered 10 kills. Senior Alicia Mokube had six kills and two blocks. Junior Vivienne Deily-Nelson paced NA with 17 digs, while senior Keira Duffy notched 10 herself. Senior Molly Robertson led the Tigers with 18 assists, while junior Sydney Klaich had 13.
North Allegheny improved to 2-0 on the young season and is back in action Tuesday at Mt. Lebanon. The Tigers return home Thursday for a non-section matchup against Baldwin. That game will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
