Lady Tigers Cruise to 34th Straight Win
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team remained undefeated and won its 34th straight match dating back to last year with a 25-17, 25-12, 25-13 sweep against non-section foe, Upper St. Clair, at home.
Senior Anna Sprys led the offense with 10 kills on the night. Sprys played well all-around, registering seven blocks as well.
Sophomore’s Paige Miller and Paige Morninstar both chipped in with seven kills a piece. Defensively, senior Allena Carmody led the Tigers with 15 digs.
NA was on point in the service game on Monday night with 13 aces.
North Allegheny improves to 11-0 overall on the season. The Tigers will return to section play on Tuesday with a road match at North Hills at 7 p.m.
