Lady Tigers Volleyball Blocks Butler, 3-0
The North Allegheny Girls Volleyball Team rolled off another victory on Thursday night with a 3-0 win over the Butler Golden Tornado in a Section 3-AAA contest. The Lady Tigers win came by way of set scores of 25-17, 27-25, and 25-16.
Senior Jamie Robatisin had a big night for the Lady Tigers, collecting a team-high 10 kills and two aces. Senior Danielle Wall posted nine kills and two blocks while junior Meg Morningstar notched seven kills and a team-best three blocks. Libero Jessica Samuels led with eight digs and setter Beth Muhlenkamp dished out 39 assists.
North Allegheny improve to 11-0 overall and 8-0 in section play. Butler drops to 5-5 overall and 3-5 within the section. The Lad Tigers return to action on Monday night with a tough non-section match at Penn-Trafford. Start time is slated for 7:30 pm.
