Maria Mosbacher, Erin Carmody Named All-State
North Allegheny girls’ volleyball players Maria Mosbacher and Erin Carmody have been selected to the all-state team by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association. Mosbacher, a Duquesne University recruit, is a senior OH and one of the top hitters in the WPIAL.
Carmody had an outstanding junior campaign at the libero position. The 5-foot-7 Carmody began the year as an outside hitter but transitioned back to libero, a post she has anchored in years past.
Both players helped North Allegheny to a 16-2 record and a co-section championship this fall.
