Mia Tuman Commits To Ohio State University
North Allegheny junior Mia Tuman will continue her volleyball and academic career at Ohio State University. She announced her commitment via Twitter on Thursday.

As a sophomore, Tuman was named all-state by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association in 2020, while also racking up All-WPIAL and first-team All-Big 56 Conference honors. As an outside hitter, Tuman played a pivotal role in North Allegheny’s perfect 18-0 season and run to a fourth consecutive PIAA crown. The Tigers also captured a WPIAL title along the way, their third District 7 championship in the last four seasons.
Tuman will an Ohio State women’s volleyball program that finished 16-4 in 2020 and reached the NCAA Regional Semifinal.
Tuman and the North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team will open the 2021 season with an important road section matchup with Seneca Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
