Molly Robertson named 2024 Post-Gazette Girls Volleyball Player of the Year

North Allegheny sophomore Molly Robertson was named the 2024 Girls Volleyball Player of the Year by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette yesterday. Along with this honor comes being apart of the Post-Gazette All-Area team, an honor only six players in the entire WPIAL get each year. Robertson is the third Tiger to win the Post-Gazette Player of the Year award since 2020 as Paige Morningstar won the award in 2020 while Mia Tuman was the winner in 2021 and 2022.

Robertson led the Tigers with 391 kills while being second on the team in digs with 250. She was the key offensive contributor on a team that went 21-1 winning the section title, WPIAL championship and PIAA Championship. Robertson was a first-team all-section player along with being named first-team All-WPIAL and first-team All-Big 56.
