NA Buries North Hills Under Avalanche of Goals, 10-0
North Allegheny won its 14th consecutive game and posted its sixth straight shutout with a 10-0 whitewash of North Hills on Wednesday night at Martorelli Stadium. The Tigers jumped out to a 7-0 lead by halftime and cruised to the Section 1-4A victory.
Senior Abigail Stager netted a first half hat trick and senior Sam Braden netted a pair of goals, including two of the first three markers on the night, to help spark the NA onslaught. Senior Abby Lang, senior Ally Ruiz, freshman Kieran Shannon, sophomore Averie Bierker and junior Addison Heim all scored goals in the one-sided victory.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 14-0 overall and 11-0 in section play, while North Hills falls to 0-13 and 0-11 in the section. The Tigers will host Fox Chapel on Monday for another section contest.
