NA Concludes MSCLA Tournament with Loss To Wheaton Academy

The North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse team concluded its run at the MSCLA Tournament in Hudson, Ohio with a 10-2 loss to Wheaton Academy (IL). Wheaton Academy jumped to a 5-1 lead at the half and was paced by junior Aiden Weisenborn with a hat trick.

Junior Christian Tedder and senior Michael Mouganis scored goals for the Tigers in the defeat. Junior Marco Pascarella led the team in ground balls and caused turnovers with three and four, respectively. Freshman Logan Lyle got the start in net and made seven saves in the first half. Junior Beck Taucher played the second half and made a pair of saves.

The loss snaps North Allegheny’s winning steak at seven. The Tigers’ record sits at 10-5 overall. NA will visit Mars on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. in a non-section contest.
