The Tigers jumped to a 4-1 lead in the first quarter and built a 9-2 lead by halftime to gain control of the section contest. Holding a 12-5 lead after three quarters, North Allegheny slammed the door on Central Catholic by outscoring the Vikings 6-0 in the final stanza.

Senior Cole Bordo netted a hat trick and facilitated the offense with an eye-popping eight assists. Junior Rigg Milliken scored a pair of markers, while Gavin Banyas, Marc Bartolomucci and Marko Kasonovich all tallied one goal apiece in the win.

North Allegheny also flustered Central Catholic with a stingy defense that forced 11 total takeaways and played well as a unit. Senior Aidan Soriano led the way with four groundballs and four takeaways. Juniors Matthew Miller and Marco Pascarella each posted three groundballs and a caused turnover.

In net, senior Marc Melanson got the start and made four saves in the first half. Junior Beck Taucher made a pair of stops in the third quarter and freshman Logan Lyle went untested in a fourth quarter dominated by the Tigers.
