NA Drops First Game Of Season To Seneca Valley

The North Allegheny boys’ volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday night with a 3-0 road defeat to the Seneca Valley Raiders. The Raiders held off the Tigers in a hotly-contested match by set scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-21.

Sophomore Canyon Tuman paced the NA offense with eight kills, followed by Luke Visgitis and Jake Barber who garnered seven kills apiece. Libero Danny Lebovitz led the defense with 15 digs, while setter M.J. Barton posted a team-best 30 assists.

North Allegheny sits at 6-1 overall and in section play following the loss. Seneca vaults into a first-place tie with the Tigers atop Section 2-AAA with a 6-1 record.
