NA makes quick work of Shaler, wins 3-0
North Allegheny traveled to Shaler High School on Tuesday night to take on the Titans in non-section action. The Tigers made quick work of the Titans as they won by scores of 25-13, 25-21 and 25-19.
Macey Casten led the way defensively for the Tigers with 12 blocks. Keely McMahon-Reagan had a productive night serving three aces and dishing out 15 assists. Mackenzie Jones had four digs, 11 assists, a block and six kills. Molly Robertson led NA offensively with 10 kills and helped out defensively with four digs. Alicia Mokube had three blocks. Reagan Riordan had four digs for the Tigers while Hannah DeLucia added five kills.
North Allegheny improves to 2-0 overall. Shaler falls to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers are off until Saturday when they will compete in the Upper St. Clair Tournament starting at 8:30 a.m.
