NA Rolls Past Shaler, 3-0

North Allegheny opened the week with a 3-0 win over the Shaler Titans on Monday night. The Lady Tigers topped the Titans by set scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-15.

Michigan State recruit Lauren Swartz had a tremendous night, owning a hitting percentage of .650 and peppering Shaler with 11 kills. Senior Annika Chang had a team-high 12 kills and five digs defensively. Lauren Colobrese led the Tigers with six digs and contributed solid passing. Beth Muhlenkamp served a total of 21 times and collected four aces. All 22 Tigers saw action in the one-sided victory.

North Allegheny improves to 8-0 overall following the non-section win. The Lady Tigers return to Section 3-AAA play tonight with a visit to North Hills.
