NA wins another five-set thriller, beats Pine-Richland 3-2

After coming back from down 0-2 on Tuesday against Upper St. Clair, North Allegheny found themselves in another five-set match on Thursday night at Pine-Richland High School. The Tigers once again made the plays needed in the fifth set and won the match by set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Molly Robertson led North Allegheny with 17 kills. She also helped defensively with 12 digs. Geneva Adams added 12 kills. Alicia Mokube had seven kills to go along with five blocks at the net. Bridgit Murphy pitched in six kills and four blocks. Reagan Riordan served up four aces and helped with 14 digs. Mack Jones had six kills and 11 assists. Macey Casten compiled 54 digs for the Tigers. Keely McMahon-Regan dished out 31 assists.

North Allegheny improves to 10-0 overall and 6-0 in section play. Pine-Richland falls to 7-5 overall and 4-2 in the section. The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, when they head east to participate in the Landisville Hempfield Invitational.
