NAVB reaches quarterfinals at NA Invitational

The North Allegheny boys volleyball team hosted the NA Invitational on Saturday at UPMC Court. The Tigers went 7-1 in pool play before ultimately falling in the quarterfinals.

In the opening pools, NA defeated Peters Township (25-12) and Ambridge (25-14) to clinch Pool B and advance to the Gold Pool in the Challenge Pool Round. In the Challenge Pool, you played everyone twice. The Tigers swept Canon-McMillan (25-16, 25-19) and Penn-Trafford (25-18, 25-20) before splitting with the top-ranked team in the state, Central York (25-20, 33-35)

North Allegheny clinched the top seed in the bracket round but fell to Ambridge 25-22 in the quarterfinals to end their day.

The Tigers have the week off before returning to action on Monday, March 31 when they travel to Norwin to take on the Knights at 7 p.m.
