
North Allegheny falls at home to Everest Academy (CAN)

Everest Academy, a top prep school from Ontario, paid a visit to Newman Stadium in the first game of a four game Pennsylvania road trip for the visitors. Everest scored the first six goals of the contest on its way to an 8-2 win over the Tigers.
Matthew Ford, Jameson Steele, and Owen Lee each scored twice, while Lucas Williams and Becker Lippert added single tallies for Everest. All five goal scorers are Division 1 recruits.
Junior Nick Sichak continued his run of strong play for North Allegheny, scoring two goals, one in each of the final two quarters for the Tigers (2-5). Sichak now has 20 goals on the year and has scored goals in all seven games for North Allegheny.
Goalie Logan Lyle was chosen as the Wright Automotive Player of the Game. The senior and St. John’s commit made 10 stops between the pipes for the Tigers.
North Allegheny heads to Ohio for a pair of games on the weekend against Springboro and Archbishop Moeller, before returning to visit Fox Chapel next Tuesday in a Section 2-3A match up.
